Why do people go on so much about tomatoes being fruits? Sure, they are the fruit or berry part of the plant, but that most certainly does not make them a fruit. Peas are the fruit part of the plant, they’re still vegetables. Same with peppers, corn, green beans. The fruit part of the plant is where the seeds are housed, so that classifies pretty much any grown food to be a fruit. But in society and culinary definitions, these foods are all vegetables.
Please spread this and end the ignorance.
